I will neither say that you are the ocean & me the waves
nor will I say that you are the heart & me the heart beat
but like the waves, I rush back to you after each of our fight
& like the heartbeat, I incessantly think & talk of you

I will neither say that am the moon & you the moonlight
nor will I say that am the sun & you the sunrays
but like a moonlight, you have a balmy effect on me
& like sunrays, you bring warmth to my life

I know that we may not walk hand in hand
but I know that we are with each other, heart & soul
I know that we may not be the best couple
but I know that we are the best, for each other
